ROTARY CLUBS PROVIDE PREGNANCY KITS IN LASUTH
Several Rotary Clubs in Lagos have donated essential pregnancy monitoring kits and maternal health equipment to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
The presentation took place on Wednesday at the hospital premises.
The donated items include foetal dopplers, ultrasound machines, blood pressure monitors, and other critical antenatal tools aimed at improving care for pregnant women and reducing maternal mortality.
Rotary District Governor, Mr. Segun Aina, who led the delegation, said the gesture was in line with Rotary International’s area of focus on maternal and child health.
“This donation is our contribution towards ensuring safer pregnancies and deliveries for mothers in Lagos,” he stated.
The Chief Medical Director of LASUTH, Prof. Adetokunbo Fabamwo, commended the Rotary Clubs for their consistent support, noting that the equipment would significantly enhance service delivery in the obstetrics department.
He assured that the items would be put to maximum use for the benefit of patients.
