In a bid to enhance financial resilience among educators, Risevest, a leading online wealth management platform, in partnership with Schoolinka, has successfully graduated the first cohort of its RiseEducators programme.

The four-week financial literacy initiative equipped 500 teachers from across Nigeria with essential skills for personal finance management and long-term wealth building. Participants explored key topics including intentional money management, the effects of inflation on purchasing power, sustainable savings habits, and foundational investment strategies.

The programme, which concluded with a graduation ceremony on June 12, 2026, featured structured learning phases and practical application. Top performers received up to $50 each in Kickstarter funding to kickstart their investment journeys, while 20 outstanding participants were specially recognised.

Eneyi, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Risevest, emphasised the programme’s significance: “Financial knowledge is one of the most powerful tools anyone can have, and teachers play a critical role in shaping future generations. Through RiseEducators, we are helping educators gain the confidence and knowledge to make better financial decisions for themselves and their families.”

The initiative aligns with Risevest’s mission to democratise access to global wealth opportunities and build financial resilience across Africa. It addresses common challenges such as inflation and limited savings culture, empowering teachers—who often serve as community role models—to make informed financial choices.

Following the success of the inaugural cohort, the partners plan to scale the programme to reach more educators nationwide in subsequent phases. This effort highlights the growing role of private sector collaboration in promoting financial literacy and inclusive economic growth in Nigeria.
