REGINA DANIELS’ BROTHER SAMMY REMANDED IN PRISON
Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy, has been denied bail and remanded in prison until November 28, following his court appearance on Thursday.
The development was confirmed by his brother, Sweezy, who took to social media to share updates on Sammy’s situation. According to him, Sammy was denied bail during his court hearing, leaving the family distressed over what they describe as unfair treatment.
Sweezy also posted a video showing the poor condition Sammy has allegedly been subjected to while in police custody. He expressed disappointment and urged the public to speak up in support of his brother.
“My brother has been denied bail and kept in terrible conditions. This is unfair — we need justice,” Sweezy lamented.
The case has reportedly been linked to billionaire businessman and politician, Ned Nwoko, who is also Regina Daniels’ husband. Sweezy earlier alleged that Nwoko was behind Sammy’s ordeal, a claim the businessman has publicly denied, insisting he never filed any petition against him.
Adding to the family’s distress, Rita Daniels, mother of Regina and Sammy, shared a viral photo of her son in detention. The image showed Sammy sitting in a dirty room with visible bruises on his arms and body — a picture that has since drawn widespread attention and sympathy across social media.
The details of the charges against Sammy have not been made public, but the case has intensified public interest, given the family’s connection to one of Nollywood’s most prominent actresses and her influential husband.
