RAMOS EXPECTS TOUGH CLUB WORLD CUP FINAL CLASH AGAINST CHELSEA
Paris Saint-Germain striker Gonçalo Ramos has admitted that he anticipates a tough battle when his side takes on Chelsea in the Club World Cup final on Sunday.
Speaking ahead of the showdown, Ramos praised Chelsea as a “very good team,” but insisted that PSG would stick to their own style of play regardless of the opposition.
“Chelsea are a very good team. We know that after the group stage, every game in this competition becomes very difficult. But we’re only focused on ourselves,” Ramos told LiveScore.
He added that while Chelsea’s quality is well acknowledged, it wouldn’t force the French champions to alter their approach.
“We don’t change the way that we play, it does not matter who the other team is,” Ramos said. “They’re a very good team, but they’ll not change anything about us.”
Both teams have shown impressive form to reach the final, with PSG seeing off European giants Real Madrid and Chelsea defeating Fluminense along the way. Fans now look forward to an exciting clash between the two sides as they battle for Club World Cup glory.
