RAHEEM STERLING SET FOR CHELSEA EXIT AS THREE PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS SHOW INTEREST
Sterling’s Chelsea Future in Doubt as Fulham, Palace, and West Ham Circle
Raheem Sterling could be on the move again this summer, with at least three Premier League clubs reportedly interested in signing the Chelsea winger.
The England international, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2022 for £47.5 million, has struggled to make a lasting impact at Stamford Bridge. After falling out of favour under former boss Mauricio Pochettino — and now also not part of new manager Enzo Maresca’s plans — Sterling appears to be heading for the exit.
Last season, Sterling was loaned out to Arsenal, but his time there didn’t go as planned. He managed just one goal in 27 appearances, a disappointing return for a player of his experience and pedigree.
Despite that underwhelming spell, interest in Sterling remains strong. According to reports from the Daily Mail and talkSPORT, Fulham and Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on the winger. There’s also talk of a potential reunion with former Chelsea boss Graham Potter at West Ham United.
However, one major hurdle for any potential move is Sterling’s hefty £325,000-per-week wages — a figure that may prove too steep for some suitors unless a wage cut or subsidy is negotiated.
With Chelsea looking to trim their squad and Sterling seeking a fresh start, the coming weeks could be decisive in determining his next destination.
