PRUDENTIAL ZENITH LIFE HIGHLIGHTS GROWTH IN INSURANCE ADVISORY

Prudential Zenith Life Insurance Limited has highlighted the growth of its agency business in Nigeria after emerging as the country’s leading Million Dollar Round Table business and featuring among the MDRT 2026 Global Top 100 companies.

The company, a subsidiary of Prudential Africa Services Limited, said the recognition reflected the performance of its financial advisers and its focus on professional development within the insurance sector.

The Million Dollar Round Table is an international association that promotes professional standards in life insurance and financial services.

Prudential Zenith Life recorded an increase in the number of advisers qualifying for MDRT, while Prudential Africa reported 275 qualifying advisers across the continent in the first half of 2026, compared with 662 for the whole of 2025.

The Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Africa, Emmanuel Mokobi Aryee, said the company would continue to expand its agency network, improve access to financial advice and strengthen professional standards.

He said more individuals and families were recognising the importance of financial planning and that advisers had an opportunity to support customers in making decisions about their financial futures.

Prudential Zenith Life’s Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer, Samuel Ohonusi, also said the recognition reflected the professionalism and customer focus of the company’s advisers.

Prudential Africa currently has about 12,000 advisers across Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Ghana and Nigeria and serves approximately 2.6 million customers. The company said its adviser network had grown by 71 per cent over five years.

The insurer said it would continue investing in professional development, technology and adviser capabilities as it works to expand access to life insurance and financial advisory services in Nigeria and other African markets.
