PROPAK WEST AFRICA TARGETS MANUFACTURING INNOVATION

Propak West Africa 2026 is set to bring manufacturers, technology providers and industry professionals together in Lagos to explore new technologies and solutions for the manufacturing sector.

The three-day exhibition will hold from September 8 to 10 at the Landmark Centre, focusing on packaging, plastics, printing, labelling and food processing.

Organisers said the event comes at a time when manufacturers across West Africa are under pressure to improve productivity, reduce operating costs, adopt sustainable practices and remain competitive.

Portfolio Director at Montgomery Group, Mark Anderson, said the exhibition would provide businesses with access to modern machinery, materials and production technologies while creating opportunities to engage directly with technical experts and suppliers.

International companies expected to participate include Windmöller & Hölscher, Reifenhäuser Blown Film, Piovan Group, Nissei ASB Africa, Clearpack Group, Snetor and Vinmar International.

Nigerian and regional exhibitors will also include Beta Glass Nigeria, SBA Nigeria, PET Associates and Bristol Scientific Company.

The exhibition will feature a conference covering manufacturing trends, technology and operational strategies, while sustainability and the circular economy will also receive attention.

A Women in Print & Packaging session will be held in partnership with Girls Who Print Africa to discuss opportunities for greater participation and leadership by women in the sector.

Organisers said the event is expected to support technology adoption, knowledge transfer, investment and partnerships that can strengthen West Africa’s manufacturing competitiveness.
