PROF. MOHAMMED KIDA APPOINTED NEW VICE-CHANCELLOR OF FULAFIA

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has appointed Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida as its new Vice-Chancellor.
According to an appointment letter dated October 29, 2025, Prof. Kida’s tenure will span a single term of five years, effective from February 11, 2026.
The University Council expressed confidence that Prof. Kida will use his extensive experience to further the institution’s growth and development.
He will succeed Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, whose tenure ends in February 2026.
Prior to his appointment, Prof. Kida served as the Dean of the Faculty of Management Science. The accomplished accountant received his appointment letter from the Chairman of the FULafia Governing Council, Mrs. Lola Fibisola Akande.
