President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to embark on a three-state visit this weekend, with scheduled trips to Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos States.

The itinerary was made public on Friday in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

In Borno State, the President will commission a number of federal and state government projects in collaboration with Governor Babagana Zulum. He is also expected to attend the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, and Hadiza Kam Salem.

Following his engagements in Maiduguri, President Tinubu will proceed to Bauchi State to pay a condolence visit to the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi. The respected Islamic scholar and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood passed away on November 27.

At the conclusion of the Bauchi visit, the President will travel to Lagos to spend the end-of-year holidays. While in the state, he is expected to serve as the Guest of Honour at the Eyo Festival scheduled for December 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square.

The festival will honour distinguished personalities, including President Tinubu’s mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, as well as former Lagos State Governors Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
