POLICE ARREST SIX OVER ALLEGED ABDUCTION OF BUSINESS PARTNER IN LAGOS
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested six men accused of abducting their business partner in the Lekki area of Lagos.
The victim, popularly known as Senator, was allegedly held hostage for three days following a business dispute. According to police sources, his family reported him missing after he failed to return home on Tuesday. Detectives tracked his phone to an apartment in Lekki, where he was rescued on Friday morning.
Investigations revealed that the suspects seized his mobile phone, made withdrawals from his bank account, and subjected him to inhumane treatment while in captivity. Police say the abduction was linked to a failed business deal between the suspects and the victim.
Although details of the dispute remain unclear, authorities confirmed that the suspects are in custody and will be charged once questioning is complete.
Lagos State Police PRO, SP Abimbola Adebisi, said she is awaiting a full briefing on the case.
