POCO LEE’S MANAGEMENT CALLS FOR CALM AS UK RAPE CASE MOVES THROUGH COURT

The management of Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee has appealed to the public and media to exercise restraint over rape allegations involving the entertainer, stressing that the matter is now before the courts in the United Kingdom. The management said the allegations should not be treated as established facts until the judicial process is concluded.

In a statement dated August 25, Poco Lee’s representatives said they were concerned about the circulation of what they described as unverified narratives surrounding the case. They specifically cautioned against reports containing claims that are not part of the actual allegations or charges before the court.

The management also addressed references to alleged “drink spiking”, stating that such claims do not form part of the charges currently before the court. It urged journalists and members of the public to avoid adding unverified details to the case, warning that doing so could contribute to misinformation and unfairly prejudice those involved.

Poco Lee’s representatives further stressed the importance of due process and the presumption of innocence, noting that allegations alone do not establish guilt. They maintained that the entertainer is entitled to a fair hearing and that the matter should be determined by the appropriate legal authorities rather than through public opinion or social media discussions.

The development follows reports that Poco Lee is expected to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court in London on September 15, 2026, for proceedings connected to the case. Reports of his alleged detention in the UK had circulated earlier, although details surrounding the case have continued to attract varying claims online.

The management said it would provide further information through its official channels whenever appropriate. Until then, it appealed to fans, media organisations and the wider public to allow the UK legal process to run its course and refrain from spreading information that has not been verified.
