Plateau-based cleric Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo has travelled to Israel as part of what he described as his first international Christian advocacy tour.
Dachomo, who has spoken publicly about killings and insecurity in Plateau State, disclosed his visit in a Facebook post on Friday. He said the purpose of the trip included praying for Nigeria, its leaders and the Nigerian people. (punchng.com)
The cleric has previously raised concerns over violence affecting communities in Plateau State, including attacks in which members of his extended family were among those killed.
During the visit, Dachomo said he prayed for President Bola Tinubu and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
He said his prayers focused on Nigeria’s leaders, the country’s people and the possibility of positive change.
The visit forms part of Dachomo’s continued advocacy around insecurity and his Christian ministry.
His activities in Israel come as he continues to speak about the need for peace, security and protection of communities affected by violence in Plateau State.
