Several filling stations across Nigeria have lowered their premium motor spirit (PMS) pump prices in response to fluctuations in global crude oil prices.

Ranoil and Sharon filling stations in Abuja and surrounding areas have reduced petrol prices to N1,280 per liter, down from N1,300. This reflects a decrease of N20, representing a 1.54 percent drop.

Meanwhile, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) and MRS outlets are selling petrol at N1,261 per liter, making them N19 cheaper than Ranoil and Sharon stations.

However, other stations, including AA Rano and Empire Energy, continue to sell petrol within the range of N1,300 to N1,330 per liter.

At the time of reporting, the Dangote Refinery’s gantry price remains at N1,175 per liter, while depot operators such as Pinnacle, Parker, and Zamson are pricing petrol between N1,192 and N1,200 per liter.

It is worth noting that Brent crude oil prices recently climbed to $114 per barrel before easing to $107 per barrel on Thursday night.
