PETER OBI KNOWS HE CAN'T FACE ME OR TINUBU — UMAHI

Minister of Works Senator Dave Umahi has asserted that the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is aware he cannot confront him or President Bola Tinubu in any political contest.

In a recent statement, Umahi described Obi as lacking the political weight and organisational strength to challenge the ruling party. “Peter Obi knows he can't face me or Tinubu. He is all talk and no action,” the minister said.

The comment has drawn sharp criticism from Obi’s supporters, who accused Umahi of arrogance and underestimating the growing influence of the Labour Party.

Umahi, a former governor of Ebonyi State, has been a vocal defender of the Tinubu administration and its policies.

The remark has intensified political conversations as parties begin positioning themselves for the 2027 general elections.
