PETE EDOCHIE OPENS UP ABOUT HEALTH CHALLENGES

Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has disclosed that he is experiencing difficulty walking and occasional swelling in parts of his body.

Edochie made the disclosure during a visit to Ghanaian actor Emmanuel Armah in Accra, where he also offered financial support and prayed for his colleague’s recovery.

The veteran actor said he remains hopeful of recovering despite the physical difficulties he is currently experiencing. He also spoke about recurring swelling, saying some parts of his body become swollen before the condition subsides.

Edochie’s visit to Armah came as the Ghanaian actor continues to receive care for a health condition that has kept him away from active acting for several years.

According to reports from the visit, Armah’s wife said his health problems began while he was working in the United States. She said he had undiagnosed high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol levels at the time.

Armah currently receives physiotherapy and other forms of care as he continues his recovery.

The meeting between the two veteran actors was emotional, with Edochie reflecting on their longstanding relationship and expressing hope for Armah’s recovery.

Edochie’s comments have drawn attention to the health challenges facing both actors and their continued connection despite their years away from regular screen appearances.
