Retired workers under the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund commend current management for resolving long-standing litigation and disbursing historic entitlements

Pensioners under the aegis of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners have expressed profound gratitude to the Managing Director, Oluwaseun Faleye, for facilitating the implementation of a 23-year-old Supreme Court judgment.

The commendation was contained in an official statement released by union leadership in Abuja, marking a historic resolution to decades of protracted legal battles concerning unpaid entitlements.

According to the retired workers, the current executive leadership demonstrated exceptional administrative courage and institutional empathy by prioritizing the settlement of the long-standing arrears that had lingered since the early 2000s.

The union noted that previous administrations failed to address the complex judicial pronouncements, leaving numerous aged beneficiaries in severe financial hardship as they awaited justice.

The implementation of the apex court's ruling has consequently paved the way for the disbursement of outstanding pension allowances and financial adjustments to deserving members across the federation.

Pledging their unalloyed loyalty and continued prayers for the current administration, the pensioners urged corporate leadership to sustain ongoing welfare reforms aimed at safeguarding the dignity of retired public servants.
