PDP SUSPENDS KADUNA STATE SECRETARY OVER ALLEGED ANTI-PARTY ACTIVITIES
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State has suspended its State Secretary, Sa’idu Adamu, over allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday, October 6, 2025, by the State Publicity Secretary, Maria Dogo, in Kaduna.
According to the statement, the State Working Committee (SWC) reached the decision, which was later ratified by the State Executive Committee (SEC) during a meeting held at the party’s secretariat.
The party said Adamu’s suspension was in line with Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended). The suspension takes immediate effect and will last one month, pending the outcome of investigations and further decisions by the party leadership.
In addition, Adamu has been barred from participating in all party activities at every level during the suspension period.
“The PDP wishes to assure its members and the general public that the party remains resolutely committed to upholding internal discipline, fairness, and justice under the able leadership of the State Chairman, Edward Masha,” the statement read.
The party further emphasized that the decision was part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen internal structures, promote accountability, and ensure unity and discipline among its ranks.
