PDP LEADER COMMENDS EKITI GOVERNOR’S SECURITY SUPPORT

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Dr Oluwole Oluyede, has commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for donating 100 operational vehicles to security agencies in the state.

Oluyede described the provision of the vehicles as an investment in the state’s security system, saying it would improve the mobility and response capacity of security personnel.

The vehicles were distributed to security agencies operating across Ekiti State.

According to Oluyede, improved mobility would allow security personnel to respond more quickly to incidents and increase their visibility across communities.

He said the gesture demonstrated the importance of providing security agencies with the equipment required to carry out their duties.

The PDP chieftain urged relevant agencies to make effective use of the vehicles and maintain them properly.

The development comes as state governments continue to support security agencies with operational equipment and logistics.

Oluyede also called for sustained collaboration between the government, security agencies and communities to strengthen security across the state.
