PAUL SCHOLES PREDICTS LIVERPOOL WIN OVER MAN UNITED AT ANFIELD
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has tipped Liverpool to come out on top when they face Manchester United at Anfield after the international break.
Speaking on The Overlap Fan Debate, Scholes expressed little confidence in Erik ten Hag’s side, saying United’s recent struggles make the outcome of the clash “predictable.”
“I can’t remember the last time Manchester United won a big game,” Scholes said. “This group of players are in such a bad rut that you have no confidence in them getting out of it. It’s almost predictable that they’ll go to Anfield and get beaten.”
Liverpool, led by new manager Arne Slot, will be looking to bounce back from their 2–1 defeat to Chelsea and solidify their Premier League campaign. The Reds will also have home advantage on their side, making them strong favourites heading into the encounter.
The highly anticipated fixture promises to be another intense chapter in the fierce rivalry between the two English giants.
