Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Umeh, has stated that her colleague, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, avoids kissing and romantic roles in movies.

Speaking during a recent episode of the Where Is The Lie podcast, Umeh linked Chukwuka’s stance to her strict Catholic background.

“Chioma Chukwuka was raised in a very Catholic home. She doesn’t take kissing or romantic roles in films. I say this from experience. She was a legionary and has always been a good girl,” Umeh said.

However, her assertion appears inconsistent, as Chukwuka has featured in several romantic roles in Nollywood, including the recent movie Seven Doors, where she shared an on-screen kiss with fellow actor, Femi Adebayo.
