Tobi Adegboyega, the UK-based Nigerian pastor and founder of the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation)—now known as The Nxtion Family—has publicly disclosed that he is currently battling cancer.

The outspoken pastor, known for his lavish lifestyle and ministry aimed at youth outreach, made the announcement in a pre-recorded sermon aired to his congregation on Thursday.

“I was diagnosed with cancer. Yes, you heard me right,” he said. “I’ve been dealing with it for the past few months or longer. I recently underwent major surgery, which is why I’m not present with you today.”

Reflecting on his recovery, Adegboyega expressed gratitude, saying, “I believe God granted me the grace to continue living—for a new chapter and a higher purpose.”

As part of his announcement, he committed to donating £100,000 towards cancer awareness and treatment initiatives, particularly for young people facing the disease.

Adegboyega rose to prominence through his unorthodox ministry style and his outreach to at-risk youth, often drawing public attention for his designer fashion, high-end cars, and celebrity associations.

In 2022, SPAC Nation came under heavy scrutiny from UK regulators and was eventually dissolved following financial investigations. A UK High Court inquiry found that the church had failed to properly account for over £1.87 million in expenses, leading to its official closure.
