Renowned Nigerian gospel artist Gaise Baba has described Pastor Lawrence Oyor, leader of the Davidic Generation Church, as someone with a rare and intense spiritual anointing.

He made the statement while discussing the remix of his song No Turning Back, which features Pastor Oyor. Since its release in May 2025, the remix has gained widespread popularity online, with numerous celebrities joining the accompanying dance challenge.

During a conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Gaise Baba shed more light on how the collaboration came to be, revealing that it was actually Oyor who approached him about the remix.

Speaking on the pastor’s spiritual depth, Gaise Baba said:

“I didn’t go to him for the remix. Technically, he came to me. He loved the song, and when we met he said, ‘Let’s do something about it.’ I was surprised.”

He continued:

“He has a dangerous and ridiculous anointing. He comes from a strong background in deliverance ministry, and now God has added wisdom to it. So it’s no longer just raw anointing—it’s refined and packaged. There’s excellence and insight woven into it, and that’s a powerful mix.”
