PARIS PROMOTER DRAGS KIZZ DANIEL, DEMANDS €80K REFUND OVER NO-SHOW
Kizz Daniel in Trouble as Paris Promoter Demands €80,000 Refund for Missed Performance
A Paris-based event promoter has publicly called out Nigerian music star Kizz Daniel, accusing him of collecting payment for a show he never performed at.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the promoter claimed that Kizz Daniel was paid a total of €80,000 (about ₦135 million) for a scheduled concert in Paris, but allegedly failed to show up at the venue.
According to the promoter, after receiving the initial performance fee, the “Buga” crooner requested an additional €5,000 to cover his flight ticket, which was provided. However, Kizz Daniel reportedly missed that flight and later demanded another €2,000, which was also paid.
Despite the payments, the promoter alleged that the singer refused to leave his hotel unless certain demands were met.
“Kizz Daniel insisted on having seafood before heading to the venue and threatened to leave the hotel if his demand wasn’t met,” the promoter said.
“Even after arranging a van for him, he refused to use it, insisting he wanted a Rolls-Royce or Range Rover.”
The promoter further alleged that Kizz Daniel arrived late in Paris and eventually did not perform at all, leaving fans disappointed and the organizers counting their losses.
Expressing his frustration, the promoter made a public appeal to Nigerians and music lovers worldwide to pressure the singer into refunding the full payment.
“I am asking everyone to urge him to refund my money. He arrived late and didn’t perform after collecting €80,000. The refund must happen immediately,” he said.
As of now, Kizz Daniel or his management has not issued any official statement regarding the allegations.
