PAGA, TBOOK LAUNCH BLOCKCHAIN-POWERED PLATFORM FOR AFRICANS TO INVEST IN TOKENISED GLOBAL ASSETS
Leading fintech company Paga and TBook have launched a blockchain-powered investment platform that enables Africans to access and invest in tokenised global assets, including real estate, stocks, and commodities.
The new platform, unveiled in Lagos, leverages blockchain technology to provide fractional ownership, transparency, and lower entry barriers for retail investors across the continent. Paga CEO, Mr. Tayo Oviosu, described the initiative as a major step towards democratising wealth creation and bridging the investment gap for Africans.
“By tokenising high-value global assets, we are opening doors for everyday Africans to participate in international markets that were previously out of reach,” Oviosu said. The platform is designed with user-friendly features, robust security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
TBook’s Chief Executive highlighted the potential of blockchain to enhance trust and efficiency in cross-border investments. Early users have expressed excitement over the opportunity to diversify portfolios with minimal capital.
The launch aligns with the growing adoption of digital assets and fintech innovation across Africa, positioning the platform as a key player in the continent’s emerging investment ecosystem.
