The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has clarified that no candidate has been endorsed or anointed for the 2027 elections. Party leaders made this statement amid speculation over preferred aspirants for the forthcoming elections.

According to officials, the party remains committed to conducting a transparent and inclusive process that allows members to freely contest for available positions. They stressed that any reports of an “anointed” candidate are unfounded and urged stakeholders to avoid spreading misinformation.
