OYIN JOLAYEMI FOUNDATION, UTL TRUSTEES HONOUR LAW SCHOOL TOP GRADUATE
The Oyin Jolayemi Foundation and UTL Trust Management Services Limited have honoured Adeniyi Israel Adekunle, the overall best graduating student of the Nigerian Law School for the 2026 Call to Bar.
Adekunle, a long-time beneficiary of the foundation’s scholarship programme, was recognised for his outstanding academic performance and several other achievements.
He expressed appreciation to the Oyin Jolayemi Foundation for the financial and moral support he received throughout his education. He said he became a beneficiary while in Senior Secondary School 1, noting that the foundation’s assistance helped him complete both his university and law school programmes without financial difficulties.
Before his achievement at the Nigerian Law School, Adekunle graduated as the best student in the Common Law programme at the University of Ilorin, recording a CGPA of 4.83, the highest ever recorded in the faculty.
Founder of the Oyin Jolayemi Foundation, Otunba Oyin Jolayemi, congratulated Adekunle on his achievement and encouraged him to remain committed to excellence.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UTL Trust Management Services Limited, Olufunke Aiyepola, also congratulated the graduate, saying his performance had made the foundation proud.
Aiyepola, who oversees the foundation’s vision and funds, urged Adekunle to maintain the standards that earned him the recognition and continue pursuing excellence in his professional career.
She also commended Jolayemi for his continued investment in the education and development of young Nigerians.
The foundation’s recognition of Adekunle highlights the role of sustained educational support in helping talented students overcome financial barriers and achieve academic excellence.
The honour also underscores the importance of partnerships between philanthropic organisations and corporate trustees in supporting education and developing Nigeria’s next generation of professionals.
