OYEBANJI SEEKS MUSLIM SUPPORT FOR TINUBU’S 2027 BID
Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has called on Muslim faithful in the state to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
Oyebanji made the appeal on Friday during a special Jumat thanksgiving service at the Central Mosque in Ado-Ekiti, held as part of activities marking the beginning of his second term.
The governor cited interventions by the Federal Government in Ekiti State as part of the reasons for his appeal.
The service was attended by Muslim leaders and other stakeholders who gathered to mark the commencement of Oyebanji’s second term in office.
Oyebanji has previously expressed support for continued cooperation between the state and Federal Government on development initiatives.
His latest appeal comes as political activities and mobilisation increase ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The call is part of wider efforts by political actors and public officials to build support ahead of the next presidential election.
