OUTGOING ROTARY PRESIDENT URGES SUSTAINED COMMUNITY SERVICE

The outgoing President of the Rotary Club of Lagos, Mr. Rotimi Adebiyi, has called on fellow Rotarians to maintain unwavering commitment to community service beyond his tenure.

Speaking at the club’s annual change of baton ceremony on Wednesday, Adebiyi expressed satisfaction with the achievements recorded during his year in office, which included health interventions, educational support, and environmental sustainability projects.

He urged the incoming leadership and all members to keep the Rotary flame alive by prioritising service above self.

“True Rotary spirit lies in consistent and selfless service to humanity. Let us not rest on our oars but continue to touch lives and build stronger communities,” Adebiyi said.

The newly installed President, Mrs. Funke Adebayo, assured that her administration would focus on youth development, disease prevention, and poverty alleviation initiatives.

Rotary leaders present at the event praised the outgoing president for his dedication and charged members to sustain the club’s humanitarian impact across Lagos.
