OSUN 2026: ADELEKE ASSURES EVERY VOTE WILL COUNT

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has given a firm assurance that every vote will count in the forthcoming 2026 gubernatorial election.

The governor made the pledge on Wednesday while addressing a large gathering of party leaders, supporters, and stakeholders in Osogbo.

Adeleke emphasised his commitment to democratic principles and transparent governance, urging the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to live up to its responsibility of conducting credible polls.

“We are ready for the election. Every single vote cast by the people of Osun must count. There will be no room for rigging or manipulation under my watch,” he declared.

The governor also called on security agencies to remain neutral and ensure a peaceful electoral environment.

The statement comes as political activities intensify ahead of the 2026 governorship election, with Adeleke seeking re-election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party
