Victor Osimhen was once again the standout player for Galatasaray on Sunday, scoring his 31st goal of the season in a commanding 5-1 win over Eyupspor in the Turkish Super Lig. The 26-year-old Nigerian forward was instrumental in the team's victory, demonstrating his exceptional skill and leadership throughout the match.

Osimhen made his mark early, providing an assist to Roland Sallai for the opening goal. He followed this up with another assist after halftime, helping Lucas Torreira extend Galatasaray's lead.

In the 71st minute, Osimhen scored himself, making it 3-0 and effectively securing the win for the league leaders. With this goal and his earlier assists, Osimhen has now accumulated 31 goals across all competitions this season, 22 of which have come in the Super Lig.

Alvaro Morata, who came on as a substitute, added a brace to further solidify Galatasaray’s dominance. Eyupspor managed a consolation goal from Luccas Claro, but it did little to affect the outcome as Galatasaray cruised to victory.

Osimhen’s brilliant performance not only earned him widespread praise but also silenced any remaining doubts regarding his move to Istanbul. With his continued contributions, he remains a crucial figure in Galatasaray’s bid for the Super Lig title.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
