The Nigeria international set up Yunus Akgün for the opener just two minutes into the game and later assisted Mauro Icardi for the home side’s third goal three minutes after the break.

The 27-year-old now boasts nine goals and three assists in 16 league appearances this season for the Yellow and Reds.

Galatasaray sit atop the league table with 55 points, six clear of second-placed Fenerbahçe, who take on Trabzonspor on Saturday.

Okan Buruk’s side will meet Serie A champions Juventus in the CAF Champions League playoff next Tuesday.
