OSIMHEN DEAL HOLDING UP MORATA’S EXIT FROM GALATASARAY

Alvaro Morata’s expected move from Galatasaray to Como is currently on hold — all because the Turkish champions are determined to secure Victor Osimhen as his replacement first.

According to renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray have made it clear that Morata’s departure will only happen once they complete the signing of Osimhen from Napoli.

Taking to social media on Tuesday night, Romano explained the situation:

“Álvaro Morata will become new Como player from AC Milan… as soon as Victor Osimhen re-joins Galatasaray.

The condition for Gala to break Morata’s loan deal and send him back to Italy is a new striker to join. And Osimhen’s currently one step away from Gala return.”

Reports suggest Como have already reached a near agreement with Morata, but Galatasaray won’t green-light the move until Osimhen’s deal is finalized.

This transfer puzzle highlights just how interconnected the football market can be. A single deal — like Osimhen’s switch — can hold up multiple moves across different leagues.

For now, Morata must wait in Istanbul as Galatasaray look to bring in the prolific Nigerian forward. Fans will be eager to see how quickly the club can wrap up Osimhen’s signing, so Morata can finally complete his move to Italy.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
