OPPOSITION BEGINS TALKS ON SINGLE 2027 CANDIDATE

Opposition political groups have begun discussions on the possibility of presenting a single candidate for the 2027 presidential election, although former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s Peter Obi were reportedly absent from the initial meeting.

The talks are aimed at exploring ways to unite opposition parties and prevent the splitting of votes among multiple candidates in the next presidential election.
