The Ondo Boys High School Alumni Association has appealed to its members in Nigeria and abroad to support the establishment of a trust fund aimed at promoting the long-term development of the school.

The proposed Ondo Boys High School Trust Fund is expected to provide sustainable financing for infrastructure, academic programmes, technology, student welfare and skills acquisition.

The President-General of the association, Oladipupo Akinfaye, disclosed this on Monday in Ondo while outlining the priorities of the new executive.

Akinfaye said the trust fund would create a structured platform for alumni and other stakeholders to contribute to the development of the school.

He said the initiative would build on the achievements of the immediate past executive, led by Pastor Khalil Akinboboye, whose six-year tenure from 2020 to 2026 included several interventions at the school.

The new president-general appealed to members of the association to support the initiative, particularly in improving the school’s infrastructure.

He said the fund would provide a more sustainable financial structure for addressing the institution’s long-term needs and supporting students beyond individual interventions.

The association said it would also continue to build on previous contributions by alumni while seeking broader support for the school’s academic and developmental programmes.
