OLA AINA PENS NEW THREE-YEAR CONTRACT WITH NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has committed his future to Nottingham Forest by signing a fresh three-year deal with the English Premier League club.
The 27-year-old, who joined Forest on a free transfer last season, impressed with his solid performances and versatility, quickly becoming a key part of the team’s defense. His new contract will keep him at the City Ground until 2027, a move that underlines Forest’s faith in the Nigerian star as they look to build a stronger squad for the coming seasons.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Aina expressed his delight at staying on. “I’m really happy to extend my time here. The fans, the club, everyone has made me feel at home. I’m excited for what’s ahead,” he said.
Forest fans have grown fond of Aina’s energetic displays, whether he’s bombing forward from full-back or putting in crucial tackles at the back. His ability to play on either flank has been a big asset for the team.
Club officials also praised Aina’s professionalism and impact both on and off the pitch. “We’re thrilled to keep Ola at the club. He’s an important player for us and fits perfectly into our long-term plans,” a Nottingham Forest statement read.
With this new deal sealed, Aina will now focus on helping Forest push higher up the Premier League table in the new season — and continue cementing his place in the Nigerian national team ahead of major tournaments.
