OGUN GOVERNMENT WARNS RESIDENTS AS SEPTEMBER RAINS RAISE FLOOD CONCERNS

The Ogun State Government has issued a fresh warning to residents over the possibility of flooding as increased rainfall is expected across the state in September.

The advisory comes amid concerns over the impact of heavy downpours on communities, particularly areas located close to rivers, streams, drainage channels and other flood-prone locations.

The government cautioned people living in low-lying areas to pay particular attention to weather conditions and move to safer locations whenever necessary if floodwaters begin to rise.
