ODU’A INVESTMENT TARGETS N1TN ASSETS, EXPANDS PROFIT
Odu’a Investment Company Limited, the investment arm of the South-West states, has set an ambitious target of growing its asset base to N1 trillion as it continues to record impressive profit growth.
The company’s Managing Director, Mr. Adewale Kuku, disclosed this during the presentation of its 2025 audited financial results, which showed a significant increase in profit after tax. The firm has been expanding its portfolio in real estate, agriculture, hospitality, and infrastructure projects across the region.
“We are on track to hit N1 trillion in assets through strategic investments, partnerships, and operational efficiency. Our focus remains on delivering value to our stakeholders while contributing to the economic development of the South-West,” Kuku stated.
Key drivers of the profit expansion include improved performance from its subsidiaries in property development, tourism, and agro-processing. The company has also intensified digital transformation and cost optimisation initiatives.
Odu’a Investment, owned by the six South-West states, plays a pivotal role in regional economic integration. Its latest performance reflects resilience amid challenging macroeconomic conditions and positions it as a key player in Nigeria’s investment landscape.
Stakeholders have commended the management’s vision, with calls for greater collaboration with the private sector to accelerate growth. The company plans further investments in renewable energy and technology-driven ventures in the coming years.
