Olujonwo Obasanjo, son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has joined the Tinubu Movement for Sustainable Governance Foundation, popularly known as “Tinubu Must Stay.”

He announced his decision at a press conference in Abuja, where the group’s leadership welcomed him.

Olujonwo said his support reflected his belief in policy continuity and the need to explain government reforms more clearly. He also stated that he had belonged to the All Progressives Congress since 2014.

He argued that public engagement should go beyond slogans to explain policies, their implementation and their effects on citizens.

The movement’s leaders described his entry as support for their advocacy of sustained reforms and stronger institutions. They said the group would continue engaging communities and political stakeholders ahead of 2027.

The announcement represents Olujonwo’s political position; it does not establish an endorsement by his father.
