The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the release and distribution of Certificates of Exemption for 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II to corps-producing institutions across Nigeria.

In a statement posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday, the NYSC confirmed that all exemption certificates for the batch have been produced and delivered nationwide.

According to the scheme, institutions are expected to ensure timely collection by eligible graduates, as the six-month countdown for the return of unclaimed certificates has officially begun.

The statement read:

“The 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Certificates of Exemption have been produced and delivered to Corps Producing Institutions (CPIs) nationwide.
In line with the Scheme’s Policy on return of all unclaimed Certificates of Exemption by the Schools six (6) months after delivery, the countdown is with effect from 6th October, 2025.”

The NYSC advised all affected graduates to contact their respective institutions for collection to avoid forfeiture or delay in accessing their exemption certificates after the stipulated period.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
