The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the commencement date for the registration of prospective corps members in the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II.

According to a post shared on the scheme’s official X handle on Thursday, the registration exercise is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 8, 2025.

The announcement did not specify the closing date for the registration process.

The NYSC, established in 1973 under the military administration of General Yakubu Gowon, was introduced as part of post-civil war reconciliation efforts to promote national unity and integration.

Under the program, graduates of tertiary institutions below the age of 30 are required to serve the nation for one year, often deployed to states outside their region of origin.
