The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, across orientation camps nationwide.

According to the NYSC, camp registration for all corps members will run from November 19 to midnight on Friday, November 21, 2025. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Friday, November 21, while the closing ceremony will hold on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

In a statement released by NYSC’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all prospective corps members safe travels to their orientation camps and advised them to avoid night journeys to ensure safety.

Earlier, the scheme confirmed the release of call-up numbers for the 2025 Batch C prospective corps members on its official X handle. The announcement noted that the call-up numbers were released based on registration order.

Due to capacity limitations across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, the NYSC revealed that only about 40% of registered prospective corps members can be accommodated for this orientation exercise. Those unable to secure placement will be deferred to the next batch.

This announcement marks the start of the highly anticipated service year for thousands of young Nigerians preparing to serve their country through the NYSC scheme.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
