NSCDC ARRESTS FOUR SUSPECTS OVER ALLEGED VANDALISM IN JIGAWA

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested four suspects in Jigawa State for alleged vandalism of public infrastructure.

The command said the suspects were apprehended during an operation aimed at tackling the destruction and theft of critical national assets across the state.

According to the NSCDC, acts of vandalism pose serious threats to public services, infrastructure development, and government efforts to provide essential facilities for citizens.

Security officials warned that individuals involved in the illegal destruction of public property would face prosecution, urging residents to support efforts to protect government infrastructure.

Community leaders and security experts have continued to call for stronger public awareness and collaboration with security agencies to reduce cases of vandalism.

The NSCDC reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding critical assets and intensifying operations against criminals involved in vandalism and other related offences across Jigawa State and Nigeria.
