The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies has rescheduled its National Summit and Exhibition on the Orange Economy from October to December 2026.

The event, organised in partnership with Bruit Costaud Government Affairs Et Al Limited, was initially scheduled for October 6 to 8 at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, formerly the National Theatre, in Lagos.

However, the organisers announced on Wednesday that the summit will now take place from December 8 to 10 at the Admiralty Event Centre, Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos.

They said the postponement would provide more time to strengthen the programme, increase stakeholder participation and improve the expected outcomes of the summit.

The event is expected to bring together policymakers, investors, creative and cultural industry leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, development partners and other stakeholders to discuss opportunities and challenges in Nigeria’s Orange Economy.

The Orange Economy covers economic activities driven by creativity, culture and intellectual property, including film, music, fashion, publishing, advertising, design, visual arts and entertainment.

According to the organisers, the summit will provide a platform to examine how Nigeria’s creative and cultural industries can contribute to economic diversification, job creation, innovation, investment and sustainable development.

The organisers also appreciated partners, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, media organisations and registered participants for their support and apologised for any inconvenience caused by the change.

The summit is now scheduled to be held from December 8 to 10, 2026, at the Admiralty Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.
