Nigerian-born Model Shares Divine Warning Of Impending Famine And Crisis In Nigeria
Nigerian model, Miss Nwaoma Ukachukwu, has issued a stern warning about an impending national crisis she claims was divinely revealed to her.
In a statement made available to the media, Nwaoma expressed deep concern over the ongoing unrest in Benue State, the South East, and several parts of Northern Nigeria, warning that these conflicts have the potential to engulf the entire country if left unchecked.
She stated that God revealed to her a troubling future for Nigeria, marked by rising insecurity and economic hardship.
According to her, criminal activities are on the rise in the South East, North East, North West, Middle Belt, and even within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)—a trend she says will further disrupt farming activities during the crucial planting season.
"A great pestilence lies ahead, reminiscent of the days of Pharaoh," Nwaoma warned, adding that the situation in Nigeria will continue to deteriorate unless those she described as the "Egyptians"—individuals obstructing the nation's prosperity—are removed from power.
She alleged that some political actors are deliberately fueling the current unrest to serve their own agendas, describing such actions as direct attacks on ordinary citizens.
“If farmers are being targeted and attacked, who will cultivate the land? From Plateau to Benue, farming has become a dangerous task. The South East faces constant threats, and in places like Zamfara, Borno, and Yobe, it’s the same grim reality. Many can no longer safely enter farmlands to plant or harvest,” she said.
Nwaoma lamented the government's inaction, accusing it of abandoning its duty to protect the people. “Instead of offering hope and solutions, those in power have become agents of destruction,” she stated.
She criticized the political class for failing in their roles as stewards of the nation, warning that Nigeria is edging closer to famine and widespread loss of life.
“Government mismanagement has driven people deeper into poverty. Inflation and skyrocketing food prices worsen by the day,” she added.
As the CEO of the Nwaoma Foundation, she urged authorities to urgently address the security crisis and implement food storage strategies in preparation for harder times.
“I implore the government to act now. If we delay, the consequences will be catastrophic. Hunger and insecurity will escalate, and crime will surge if proactive steps are not taken,” she cautioned.
Nwaoma also expressed concern over the growing culture of greed in Nigerian politics, which she believes has eroded the nation’s moral compass.
“We must rekindle our sense of humanity and look out for one another. Without this, we may face a crisis far worse than civil war. The time to act is now,” she concluded.
