NIGERIAN AFROBEAT STAR CHARLES ONYEABOR SELLS OUT ITALY’S ICONIC HARD ROCK CAFé
Europe-based Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Charles Onyeabor achieved a career milestone on October 24, 2025, after selling out the iconic Hard Rock Café in Firenze, Italy.
The son of legendary Afro-funk pioneer William Onyeabor, Charles thrilled fans with an electrifying performance that fused Afrobeat, soul, funk, and modern rhythms, creating a distinctive sound that reflects both his heritage and contemporary artistry.
Performing crowd favorites like “Ifenkili,” “As e dey play, e dey show,” and his latest club hit “Cho Cho Cho,” Charles kept the packed venue on its feet from start to finish. His magnetic stage presence and infectious energy turned the concert into a celebration of Afrobeat culture.
The night featured appearances from several guest stars, including DJ Obas, DJ Top Gee, UK-based Afrobeat media personality Adesope Olajide (Shopsydoo), Henry Afrobeat Rome, Young Game, and Pharrow, among others.
