NGOZI OKOBI-OKEOGHENE RETURNS TO SUPER FALCONS AFTER THREE YEARS

Ottawa Rapid (Canada) star Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene is set to make her return to the Super Falcons after a three-year absence.

The attacking midfielder was named in the squad for the upcoming double-header friendlies against the Indomitable Lionesses on Thursday.

Her surprise recall has put her in contention for a spot in the Super Falcons’ squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

“God be praised. Thank you @thenff,” the former Washington Spirit star wrote on X.

At 32, Okobi has earned 27 caps for the 10-time African champions and has lifted the WAFCON trophy four times with the team.
