NDLEA RAIDS KANO DRUG DENS, ARRESTS 73 SUSPECTS
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested 73 suspects during coordinated raids on suspected drug dens in Kano State.
The agency said the operation targeted locations identified as hotspots for the sale and distribution of illicit substances.
Officials noted that various quantities of narcotics were recovered during the raids, while investigations are ongoing to determine the extent of the drug network and identify additional suspects.
The NDLEA said the crackdown forms part of ongoing efforts to combat drug abuse and trafficking across the country.
The agency reiterated its commitment to reducing the supply of illicit drugs and protecting communities from the social and security consequences of drug-related crimes.
