NDC CALLS FOR LAGOS POLICE COMMISSIONER’S RESIGNATION OVER POLITICAL EVENT

 The National Democratic Coalition (NDC) has called for the resignation of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, accusing him of displaying partisanship following his alleged involvement in a City Boy Movement event.

The group claimed that the police chief's participation in the gathering undermines the neutrality expected of the Nigeria Police Force and could erode public confidence in the institution's impartiality.

According to the NDC, security agencies are expected to remain politically neutral and serve all citizens without favour, especially as political activities continue to intensify across the country.

The coalition urged the police authorities to investigate the incident and take appropriate action to preserve the credibility and professionalism of the force.
