NCAA MULLS ROYAL AIR MAROC SUSPENSION OVER SERVICE FAILURES
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is considering suspending Royal Air Maroc’s operations in Nigeria due to repeated service failures and passenger complaints.
The regulatory body issued the warning on Friday, citing issues such as chronic flight delays, last-minute cancellations, inadequate passenger welfare during disruptions, and poor customer service.
NCAA Director-General, Capt. Chris Najomo, emphasised that the authority will not tolerate substandard operations on Nigerian routes.
“All airlines must adhere to high standards of safety, reliability, and passenger care. We are reviewing options, including suspension, if improvements are not made immediately,” he stated.
The development has sparked reactions from travellers who have endured long-standing frustrations with the airline’s services to and from Nigeria.
Royal Air Maroc is yet to issue a formal response to the potential regulatory action.
