Napoli have reportedly set a strict deadline for Galatasaray to complete the permanent signing of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

According to reports from Football Italia, both clubs have been locked in talks throughout the summer and have finally reached an agreement on key terms — including the controversial anti-Serie A clause and profit-sharing percentages.

Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, had an incredible run in Turkey, scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists in just 41 matches. His outstanding form has made the Turkish champions eager to secure his services permanently.

However, Napoli are no longer willing to wait indefinitely. They’ve now given Galatasaray until next Monday to finalize the deal and complete all necessary paperwork.

As part of the agreement, Galatasaray will pay €40 million upfront, with the remaining €35 million to be paid in instalments by June 2026.

While Galatasaray had at least four earlier bids turned down, this latest agreement brings the saga close to its conclusion. All eyes are now on the Turkish side to meet the deadline and officially bring the Super Eagles star back to Istanbul on a permanent basis.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
